A part of what is to be the foundation of the structure was firstly made with timber material that ultimately sets the framework. Timber was chosen as a symbolic means of traditional frame structure. I chose to detail the interconnection between the exterior design and the internal framework of my office spaceand how the two different materials come together.
For the exterior, galvanised steel sheet was used to present a contrast to timber framing considering Soni's idea of shift between the old and new, and the three pieces were cut out and folded into three different parts of the panels.

Thinking how as to join the steel sheet to the timber, I thought to use the bolt and nut screws with rubber-cap holders to hold the sheets in place, in addition, giving the visual element of industrial impression.
